Kinetic Orchestra on tunnettu paritekniikastaan, jossa lentäjä- ja base-roolit vaihtelevat ja jossa harjoittelu on yleensä enemmänkin taidon harjoittamista ja ymmärryksen lisäämistä kuin taiteellista työtä. Tällä kertaa halusimme kokeilla työpajassamme hieman erilaista konseptia. Siksi Spring Break -festivaalin paritekniikkatyöpajaan tullaan poikkeuksellisesti oman parin kanssa. Työpaja myös huipentuu esitysmäiseen harjoitteluun Stoan teatterisalissa. Tarkoituksena on, että parit pääsevät muokkaamaan kurssilla tehdyistä tekniikoista ja lyhyemmistä liikkeellisistä ideoista itselleen omannäköisen lyhyen dueton ja mahdollisesti taltioimaan sen Stoassa työpajan viimeisenä päivänä.

Kinetic Orchestra is known for its distinctive partnering technique where the roles of flyer and base often switch and training is more about finessing skills and increasing understanding rather than artistic practice. This time we wanted to try a slightly different concept in the workshop. For this reason, registrations for the Spring Break festival partnering workshop will be made together with a partner. The workshop will also culminate in a performance-like practice session on the Stoa stage. The intention is that the couples will get to create a short, individualised duet based on the techniques and shorter movement ideas learned during the course and will also get a chance to film their duet on the last day of the workshop.
